Praise + Gratitude = Joy & Happiness
Day 6: Corinthians 9:8
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
Our God is a God of abundance and He is generous, for this I am filled with gratitude!
The Amplified Bible gives this version: And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance.
I love this verse because it reminds me that I am blessed to be a blessing to someone else! He will bless the increase of those who give. It’s a promise to us. He is telling us that if we give from a place of love, cheerfulness, and contentment to those in need, we can then expect through our faith in Him to see spiritual growth and blessings.
I know I can’t out give God, but the competitor in me see’s this as a challenge!! I love to give my time, my talents, and my treasure, because I want to activate this promise within my life. I want to grow spiritually, and I want to see increases within all areas of my life, so I can then pour into others as He has poured into me.
I want to glorify and praise God through my generosity and this is the perfect season for it! My family has discussed the areas we plan to give to our community this Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have plans to sow seeds of generosity and to find needs and meet them! We understand 2 Corinthians 9:8, and we intend to show our gratitude to a Father that has blessed us, by blessing others. By sowing seeds this season, I’m believing that come this time next year, I’ll be able to do double the charity work. We will let His light shine through us and into others!
How about you my darling friend??
I want to encourage you to take time this week and think about a few ways you can share your blessings with others. Make a plan and commit to it! Start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can.
Every seed sown makes a difference.
