Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.

A Bit Of Prayer:

Father,

Thank you for Your Word, and all that it teaches me. It is truly a lamp for my feet and a light on my path. Your Word fills me with hope and encouragement. It brings me peace and comfort. On my worst days it is my strength. Father, I truly believe Your Word will not return void, and every promise you make to me will be fulfilled. Father, help me sow Your truth into my heart, and let it truly change me, becoming more like Christ with every verse I read.
