A Bit of Bible:

The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.

Proverbs 4:18-19

A Bit of Prayer:

Father,

Thank you for pulling me out of the darkness and into the light. I know I’ve not reached the full light of day yet, in all its strength and glory, but with Jesus as my shepherd I know I will. Father, I do not want to stumble, help me to avoid all dark paths, and the evil that may tempt me. Help me stay on the righteous path, surrounded by your light. And Father, use me to guide others out of darkness and into light.
