A Bit of Bible:

There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil.

Job 1:1

A Bit of Prayer:

Father,

Please help me be more like Job. Help me to become blameless and upright. I truly desire to be honest, honorable, respectable, good, and virtuous. In a world where sin and evil no longer stand out, but have become more like the norm, please help me recognize Your ways. Father, never let me stop fearing you, and please help me abstain from all wrongdoing. No one can be perfect, so I thank you for the mercy and grace that You give each and every day.
